I love them too. A couple of weeks ago, as I was going through some of the piles of stuff my late father has left behind, I found an old poppycock container labeled "locks". In the container were a bunch of old master padlocks, as well as some others. Of particular interest was a "viro" padlock, which I'm sure my father found. In my memory, there was never a key to this lock, and I was unable to open it with a paper clip and a small screwdriver years ago. With my vise, 15 thou Peterson Gem and prybar, I got it open in short order, but I realize now that the lock has spools in it, which makes it hard for youngsters with paper clips to open. I made a key too, so my work is done with this lock. Also I found a small master no. 7 lock with no key, but the code "P375" was never erased off the bottom, so I think it should be easy to make a key for this one. That batch of locks has a connection to my past.
I bought a batch of locks of ebay, took out the ones I really wanted, and picked the rest open. If you want them, let me know. If someone here doesn't have a lot of money and still wants some locks, let me know, and I may send you some locks and stuff. I've been known to be sporting at times.
