Australian Lock Pickers?

Postby handcuffsdude » 24 Jul 2016 8:01

Hi everyone,

If you're from Australia and looking to meet up with lock-pickers near by, send me a private message.
I help run a loose-knit group along the east-coast of Australia (and Perth!) and we organize semi-regular meetups.

We're looking to expand locksport as a hobby in Australia and so far its been going good! If you're at any 'Information Security' or 'Hacker' events in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane there is, generally speaking, now a lockpicking workshop/table available.
Some conferences we've been at/will be at this year (and hopefully will be at next year!)

    CrikeyCon (Brisbane)
    WAHCKon (Perth)
    BSides Canberra (Canberra)
    AUSCERT (Gold Coast)
    UnrestCON (Melbourne)
    LetsJustHackShit (Sydney)
    Kiwicon(Wellington NZ)

Most of the conferences are super cheap to attend (AusCERT being a notable exception) and welcome to all interested in security. Plus, we try to make sure that we run some kind of competition at every conference on the final day and there are always nice prizes given away!

So if you're keen to meet other fellow lockpickers or just give it a try let me know! :D

Hi there,

I run the Australian Locksport Guild, Australia's first national locksport group. We are a Facebook based group and have many members across the country. You can find us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

Hey, Mur670! Long time no see!
