Got a question about key machines? not sure what to buy? need a user manual? have some tips for keeping one running well or need help cutting or programming keys? Post here!
Argh!!! I'll never find a deal like that around here. Not many locksmiths so everyone thinks an old, used key machine is some sort of NASA engineered holy grail. Some guy tried to tell me he had one from an automotive garage and its "worth at least $18,000.00 if you are interested."

You are so right about that!! I once saw an old 2H listed for $500 on Craigslist.

Unfortunately the owner of this machine went ahead and followed the instructions--The hole that should be for an oil fill is plugged up with a screw HPC wants you to burn up the cutter shaft and it's bushings, that way your machine won't last for very long

Instructions say to remove screw to oil. It is cheaper than a Gits fitting.
