Key needed for Star handcuffs

Postby MiPo » 15 Dec 2016 17:30

Hi there,

I got handcuffs like these http://www.fesselmuseum.de/star02.300x150.jpeg in a trade but without keys. I know that the keys are not standard. I'd like to get or make keys. So I would be thankful for hints where to get them or a layout so that I could file them myself. The picture is from that website http://www.fesselmuseum.de/ring5433.html I already contacted the person who runs the site but got no feedback (5 weeks ago). The exact model: STAR'' AT. 186674

Thanks a lot in advance. Bye,
Michael

How about filing down a flat piece of brass or steel? It's the quickest solution. Do you know how to impression warded locks keys?

Cheers :)

I recall a video from 'LockButcherShop' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OLwMrwYJWNI on that topic. I could do that.
But I thought someone would have the measurement for me.

Thank you.
