Safe temperature for storing tools

After letting my tools bake in the sun in the cab of my car for 2 days and noticing they aren't distorted I'm still a little nervous. I can't find any manufacturer recommendations for any of my tools, are there any manufacturers out there that gives General guidelines for safe storing temperatures? I have some pretty thin pics and rakes that I'd imagine would weaken and the store at comparatively low temperatures. Just saying if there's any good information out there on this that Google couldn't pull up. Thanks!

Steel will not begin to temper until it is pushing 400F, and would need to get about 500F to 600F to actually temper it enough to degrade the hardness of a typical pick.

Normal temperatures inside a vehicle or even in direct sunlight should effect your tools .. Humidity will be the biggest problem could cause rust ..

Live in southern Arizona, with actual temps last month hitting 118 degrees. Never had a problem.
