Any good lock picking set for wallet ?!

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Hi guys,
I was wondering is their any good lock picking set that will fit in you wallet and won't let you down in some emergency situations. If someone try one of many available in internet and have some feedback i will be pretty thankful.

A bogota set inspired by the original one, invented by Raimundo.

Cheers :)

lock picks are not magical, you have to practice a lot and build up your skill. It's the skill or lack of skill of the picker that will usually let you down in an emergency situation, not the lock pick set.

That is important to remember.

But in terms of skill, if you get rusty, it might pay to have hardier picks. When you get frustrated or lose focus, it get pretty easy to break your picks in general. When you get into something like the credit card pick sets, a lot of them are a little flimsy already.

I am looking into ordering a set of Bogota picks from Serepick soon. I currently have the Pi-Bogota wallet set from ITS Tactical. It has been used for recreation and emergency alike and has not let me down yet.
As Squelchtone said though, there is no set of picks that will make you good at picking; Practice, patience and knowledge are needed to pick any lock. Once you are confident with your skill, it's easy to use a couple paperclip or whatever other improvised tools you could brew up. Having a go-to kit on you at all times is just convenience.

whatever option you choose.
don’t forget to practice with it.
little use having them if it takes
an hour to familiarise your self to
using those picks because you don’t...

I would ask what the intended use will be?

Do you lock yourself out of the house often? Don't pick the lock, you may damage it. Carry a spare key or hide one.

My tri fold holds a good assortment of pick and wrenches, but it is not a wallet sized item.

As for sets, I need only one or two picks and a couple of wrenches. Buy some good ones and adapt a case to your purpose. Someone here made a case from a two piece tube that looks more like a case for glasses.
