winkangrin,
silent is right... ...and let me add that given the ever increasing amount of gadgetry that is appearing in the doors of cars these days, digging around inside a car door has several risks. You could snag a wire and 'break' something electrical or worse... even short out something. You could also puncture the weather protectant layer that keeps water off your door speakers and electric motors causing future problems with them.
Getting professional help is generally best. While it is true they use one tool similar as to what you describe, they also have other tools to prevent damage to the car as well. They also have a nice book of all the model/year cars with details of exactly where and how to probe to get the job done without damaging things.
But... having such a tool and a locked car may be an unbearable temptation. It would be for me anyways... so... good luck, be careful and if you get it... please don't post the details of your technique here. We don't want to this site to appear as a source of info for would be car thieves.
Cheers
