you had a poor do with the police, after all they could have at least battoned you and gassed you too, no fun any more, with at least 2 uk coppers on site im sure they would disagree.

Hey everyone! Hobbyist picker, tho it used to be part of my profession as a wrecker driver. Living in Ohio, and loving the fact that an Abus 24/70 can be picked in less than a minute and a half with my homemade snap pick made out of a coathanger! I have commercially bought vehicle picks, but my hook, snake and diamonds are all homemade after breaking the bought versions.

Hello everyone I am currently changing professions, therefore very new to Lock picking. I have recently completed a training course in Welingborough which was most enjoyable and confirmed that I am entering an enjoyable and interesting vocation. This site looks very useful and I look forward to the assistance you all could provide. :lol:

great site and incredibly knowledgble members and what a sense of enthusiasm from everyone very refreshing

My background is, I am a 24/7 locksmith working in the edinburgh and surrounding areas mainly with domestic /commercial locks and low/med security safe work, I have been in trade about 9 years, I was previously a carpenter to trade for 10 years.

I have joined this site after reading some posts and feeling I could help some people posting and possibly gain some help with my current home made pick projects.I also use and have access to a number of commercial picks some of which i could improve at using.(never seem to find time to practice)

anyway once again great site, all the people involved well done keep up the good work

Hi, I'm very new to lock picking, I just started today, I read some stuff about lock picking and tried to get my front door picked. I couldnt quite get it, but I know I got some of the pins. I'll try some other locks once I get something better than a paper clip and screwdriver to work with.

Greetings one and all - figured it was time to get out of lurk mode and actively participate.

I live right outside of Athens, GA - a little university town 60 miles (96 km) east of Atlanta, GA. I currently provide remote server support to financial/insurance companies for speciality software applications. What free time I have is generally spent with the local Boy Scout Council. I am a certificed Shooting Sports Instructor and starting next year I will be a Merit Badge Counselor.

Romstar & Pinky - I have downloaded and read the MIT guide. Plus, I have read Matt Blaze's "Notes on Picking Pin Tumbler Locks". And I solemly promise to "Search" before asking my first newbie question!
