If you buy from IDN/ACME you are getting ripped off--they're prices suck
I get my pins from Allied locksmith supply for less

Quite possible. I don't have them in my area, and I don't know anybody who sells LAB pins online for less than what IDN offers. Anything I find on eBay is easily 25% to 50% more, even if you buy a full Refill Pack on eBay compared to the single-bag prices I listed. Amazon is 3 to 10 TIMES as much.

But yeah, if you can find a better price per bag or Refill Pack, that's the way to go. Avoid buying a tray with only 20 pins of each size when you can get 150 pins of each size for the roughly the same money. no tray.

Here's the LAB Catalog to help navigate around. I recommend saving it.

Also note there's a physical characteristic difference between .003 and .005 pin systems. They actually have a different edge at the sheer line.
