Abloy padlocks

Postby Sleutelboertje » 23 Mar 2019 8:12

Sorry for my absence but I had a busy time and still it is busy with work....
But the good news is: I still buy some locks, like locks and pick locks :D
Last week I found a lot of 5 abloy padlocks. I found them big.... I bought them very cheap I think.

I can’t find much info on the web. How old are these lock? 1940/ 1950?

And is anyone familiar with these padlocks to make a cut away? I would like to try.

Nice Abloys. Looks like there is some rust or corrosion on some of the shackles. How well do they work?

Thanks Gordon! Everyone is working. Some keys are a little bit bent but not bad and still working. The rust is also not to bad. I can clean it I think

Took me some time to start but here are some pictures. The cut away is a first test.

Excellent photos!!! I have always wondered what that model looked like inside.

Also very good to have a few spare locks to sacrifice for research reasons.

Your cuts looks nice as well, more photos are welcome when you have time!
