Brinks 4 wheel combination lost

Postby Warlock vendetta » 23 Oct 2019 12:32

I'm trying to open my brinks 50mm brass padlock, it's 4 wheel combination lock is easily opened with an ez decoder. but it is a 2016 model with the letter K inside of a square on the bottom of the lock to the left of the wheels, I think they fixed the ez decoder flaw in the third wheel from the left because it does not work like previous models (from my experience). Any picking knowledge or insight or answers would be appreciated.

Note: I think model number is 661-49001

Start with 0000. If that does not work, try 0001. Next try 0002.

This is not a sarcastic reply. Slow, but it will work.

So are saying you can get readings from the ez-decoder for all but one of the wheels?

If so you only have 10 combinations to try

is this lock currently on something, like a gate, or a cabinet, etc?

Can we see a photo of your lock? 1st time post and asking about a lock that probably every rancher in the mid west has on their gate, and I'm gonna be reluctant to help a brother out... are you a hobby picker or just need to get into this one lock that you are the owner of?

Thanks and no offense, but we just don't wanna educate bad guys by accident,

I am just not trying to cut it if I don't have, I already got my own ez decoder stuck in it and broke off from trying so many times. It's on a bags zipper so I can get it off but also really interested in other ways to open it other than scrolling.

If you look up Brink's 50mm Brass resettable padlock on Walmart it will be the first one to pop up.
Thanks.
