I am wondering, what is the difference between a toy47 and tr47. Also, what is the difference between a toy47 and a toy44? these two look the same. I know that a toy44 is has a transponder inside but a toy47 does not. However, shape wise, they look the same. Can I use a toy44 to cut a toy47 required car key?

I believe the Toy47 and the TR47 are the same, I have 'cut' a TR47 to use as an emergency key for Toy44's....it'll get in the door, but won't start the car.
Many people 'up in the hills' lock their keys in when they're hiking in remote areas? - strap a non-starting key onto the frame somewhere - and they just saved
a very expensive drive to unlock the doors, use a cable tie though, those 'magnetic key holders' fall off on bumpy dirt roads.

Awesome, that's what i had thought. I was working on a car the other day, and the ILCO system said that it required a TOY44. But when i did input the code into my xc-mini condor plus the only code series available to use required a TR47. They mentioned they did get into a car accident and had to get the side door switched out. Thoughts?

On that 'they changed the door out' 'thing' - you're going to have to re-code the door to the ignition,
If you take the cylinder out (you'll need to) - you can use those wafers to re-code the cylinder to the old ignition key,
there may be a wafer or two you don't have - I've left 'em out - nobody knows! - the cylinder still works just fine, locks,
the key works...and the chances of now a picker finding a 6 wafer lock where they expected 8 - slim to none.
It's all good.
