American Series 200 Won't Relock After SPP

Hi. My name is Jerry, and I recently started tinkering around with lock picking. The second of these locks I tried is an American Series 200. I picked it, but now I can't lock it back to have another go? It was donated to me because the owner hasn't found a key. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you

Hello and welcome to the forum.

Some American padlocks, doesn't matter which model, are key retaining. It means you have to close the shackle before turning the key (or the plug) back to the locked position. Try that and let us know if it works.
