Help With Haliburton Luggage Lock

Postby keylessinseattle » 6 Jul 2025 12:36

Hey folks, I've got a Zero Haliburton carry on luggage that is exactly the size limit for a personal item!
However, it did not come with any keys and I'm not sure based on what the lock looks like what kind of key I should be looking for. All I know is its a Presto luggage lock. Any thoughts?

You should be able to find a key that fits on ebay.

I actually have hundreds of luggage keys but I can't tell you which key fits your case

You do know that the TSA forbids using the lock on your case?

Only if you are checking your luggage. You can use them for your carry-on luggage, though they may ask you to open it if the x-ray shows anything questionable.

When I travel, my carry-on is locked with an Abloy padlock and never had an issue. But for checked luggage, have to use the TSA locks that are about as secure as tying it shut with spaghetti.

Or unless you are checking a bag with a declared firearm. Then you may use a quality lock and maintain the only key (in fact you are required to do so), you just have to wait around for your bag to clear the scanner in case TSA needs you to open it so they can look inside.
