200A Key Cutting Machine?

G'day Friends,

As a few of you may be aware, I'm going to be enrolling in a corespondance course soon with Foley Belsaw, in hopes of expanding my skills with locks. One of the things they offer with thier package, is a 200A Key Cutting machine. I've been trying to find information on this device, but with no luck. I've searched google, hotbot, and some others... even tried Ebay. No dice.

Has anyone heard of, seen, or perhaps even used this device? I'm going to go ahead with the course one way or the other, but I wanted to try and see what I was getting before I sent in the money.

That machine is a Foley #200A machine. I haven't used it myself, but from the looks of it it's a pretty basic key duplicating machine. I've chatted with other lockies who have taken that course and have mentioned that the F-B machine is a solid little unit. It'll cut all your basic residential, commercial, and automotive keys fairly easy.

The exceptions (keywise) are:

1. tubular
2. Flat steel, skeleton or safety deposit box keys.
3. Most high security (with a few exceptions of course)
4. Internal and external 2 & 4 track sidewinder/laser cut automotive keys.

Basically, this is a good starter machine that'll cover all the basics.

I had feared that it would be a cheapish little thrown-together thing, that wasn't really useful... Something they threw in just to make the package look better. Glad to hear otherwise!

When I get all the equipment (Should be before January) I'll let you all know my "review".
