I think that locksmiths will always be a part of society. I think that as more and more people become more and more convinced that they live in a more and more dangerous society and that they themselves are working longer and harder hours with less time to spend on "do it yourself projects" that locksmiths will be called in to do the things that they once did themselves when they had the time. I think that any locksmith who is a good sales person can sell him/herself and their service to these people. I believe that locksmiths will have to be more on call than ever before because we will have to talk to this consumer (who is spending less and less time at home) on their timetable and at whatever location they want us to meet them at. I believe that more and more selling of our services will be needed than ever before and as such we too will be working stranger hours.

Or people could simply pack up and move to what they perceive as safer places only to find out that crime travels too.
