good cheap safe recommendations?

Postby Telionis » 12 Mar 2005 1:25

Sorry - I'm sure this has been discussed before, but every search comes up with tons of results, none of which came close...

Anyone has any good recommendations for a good, secure but resonably affordable safe? Instead of the cheap crap with plastic tumblers!?!

thanks,
Telionis

Mostly burglary. Fire couldn't hurt though, but I'm not sure how safe those fire proof ones are to a simple drill...

what to look for?

Postby Telionis » 14 Mar 2005 17:00

Any specific recommendations as to what to look for?

Group II Combination Lock? Is this good?

What is a key-op lock? Key or both key and combo?

How secure are the electronic locks? Easier or harder to crack? Could someone just pry off the panel and send the appropriate signal via the wires that were exposed?

Gardall looks good... thanks HeadHunterCEO...
