pick shapes?

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

what shapes should i be bending my safety pins into?

You can bend it into a 70 degree angle at the tip for a feeler.
Don't forget that you need a tension wrench. I would suggest making your own picks, or buying some however.

I found a lot of useful info on that site, but nothing about making picks. Could you possible point me to where you are talking about?

Dan have you seen pyro's video? It is on the site here and it tells you how to make picks out of hacksaw blades.. and the same principle could be used on street bristles. I know this isn't about safty pins but it is totallk about makeing picks.

yes of course I have seen pyro's video. I was saying on the crypto.com link I could not find anything about making picks. I am not asking for how to make picks, because I already have found plenty of info on that, just a pointer to where it is on that page that was linked to because it is huge with many links and despite about 20-30 minuts browsing through it I couldn't find anything about making picks. Although it has a great guide on picking in general.

i made my own pick out of a hacksaw blade today!!!!! :D its just a short hook, tommorow im gonna try makin a simple random rake like in the pyro video

Sounds nice! U will find hacksaw picks much more effective. Post some picks in the "Manual" section and tell us about your progress!
