Well i was just searching around the net and i stumbled onto this site. So i've been sitting here for about an hour reading some topic and i thought it would be a fun hobby to learn.

Hey a new hobby...I am excited as I walk around and see all those pickable locks, they are EVERYWHERE.

I have my southord pick set and have picked my 2 sample locks and my padlock and am working on my existing house lock. Fun, fun,fun.

Hello all! I'm a fairly new locksmith that has a growing interest in lockpicking. I just recently became fascinated by trick locks and antique locks. I found this website while researching an antique push key padlock. Seems like a great forum for sharing info so far!

i was stumbling around looking for fone unlock codes and such and ended up here. haven't tried anything yet but it never hurts to learn something new so i thought, gotta start somewhere:)

Hi, not only am I new to the site but I have never picked a lock in my life (I have however picked my nose on a few occasions).
I am a medical technician in UK (Wirral) and have decided to have a go at picking to see if I can do it, just for fun realy but it could be a very usefull skill. The site looks like its a good place to get started.

Hi my name is Martin!!,
Im a profesional locksmith and have been in the business for more than twenty years.
I am fully NDE and have designed and made many of my own picks, any present UK lock is of no problem to me and Im soon considering starting up in training.
Please dont see this as bieng big headed its just that I am a straight talker and believe in what I can do, at my age Im finding it very tiring attending lockouts and other such work and feel now that the best option for me is to pass on my skills to others in the field.
Whilst I was searching the net for good advice on setting up a training school this site was frequently in the search results, after having a good read of peoples opinions around the site I have decided to join as I feel I will be able to teach many if not all of you a few tips or tricks of the trade!!.
I am more than happy to share advice with you all but please understand that I have to keep some secrets back for my future students, I am more than happy to compile some how to guides on BS lock picking that will explain techniques that I have not found on this site.
I can also prepare a set of how to instructions on how to make a simple cylinder lock decoder.

Thanks for taking the time to read my input and I hope I can help some of you improve your lifes with better work methods.
