I'm just writing this to introduce myself. I first became interested in lock picking when I had to write a paper about a recent discovery in technology, but things like this and computer hacking have always been interesting to me.

Hello!

i'm as new as you can get. i think i may have picked one or 2 locks in my life. i've just kinda re-interested myself in it though and hope to be able to learn something (or a bunch of somethings) from the people on here.

and to clarify cuz i'm sure you'll ask, my screenname is the same one i use on about 10 other forums, and its cuz i drive a 1968 camaro.

glad to be here!!

Hi. My name's Adam, and I'm new to the site. I don't really have any practical lockpicking or locksmithing experience, but I'm working on a crime novel, and have been looking for information about lockpicking and hot-wiring cars on the internet. I have no personal interest in stealing cars (or in teaching anyone else how to do it). I just want to make sure my material is relatively accurate. OK, I think that's all for now. Nice, interesting forum, from what I've seen so far.

Good luck with the novel which you are working on, BUT, you may find more material here which may give you an idea for writing the next novel..... and the next.... and the next... etc... etc... etc... and most of the true identities of members have already been hidden....

all the best

hi read the faqs on courses but you will need to do loads and loads of practicing before you take a course. that way you will get more out and the person on the course wont be just teaching you the basics which you can realy teach yourself from this site.
im going to add because loads of people will say it to you, if you have a question do a search on the sit first as a lot of stuff has been covered espesaly for new pickers :D
above all have fun and then you have to give me your life savings (joke)
