well, have know opened the schlage several times with my clicker using a feather touch on both tension wrench and on clicker. Hope to transfer new lighter touch to my single pick approach

hi there please help im wanting a career change and i would like to go into the locksmith trade.what course do i do please help?? ive narrowed it down to two courses the 1st is by a company called anvill it gives you a city and guilds cert in locksmithing skills (ive checked with the city and guilds people and its true.second is the master locksmith assosiation (is this the one if im a complete beginner?) if any one has any advice that would be great.
ps how much is a lockpicking set basic to get me by £200? or £2000?

I've been playing with locks for the last couple of years. It's really just a hobby that I find relieves stress. Some people like to play chess, I like to open locks without the intended key. I find it covers a whole range of skills and as a mechanical engineer its the sort of stuff im interested in. I hope I can add to the diversity of this site and help some people out and get help where needed ! I'm based in the UK and got my first introduction to lock picking from the computer security scene. There is quite a bit of stuff happening now and the hobby is developing quickly so happy picking !

hello, I just started reading this site last night and decided to make some pics, i have made 4 picks, 2 half diamond( different sizes) one hook, and i guess it would be called a rake, i designed the rake myself based on all the others ive seen. I decided to follow everyones advice by purchasing a lock instead of trying on my own. and honestly within 2 minutes or so, i was able to pop it! I couldnt believe that it opened! i thought that maybe i did it by fluke so i closed it and tried it again and then POP it went again!!!! LOL I think im hooked and im gonna have to by a more locks lol.

the lock i picked didnt have that many pins, only 4 pins very simular to the masterlocks its called Garrison some lock sponsored by ADT, make me think about how secure ADT is! ls well ill keep you posted on all the others i pop soon
