Review on Absinthe Tools.

Postby Varjeal » 17 May 2005 23:33

Some of you may or may not know Absinthe, a member of LP101. For some time now he has found a supply for and offered some tools that most would consider solely for locksmiths.

In particular he keeps in stock #2 and #4 pippin files for impressioning, fine cut round chainsaw files, and high quality visors with magnifying lenses and optional light.

I can say that the pippin files (at $25 USD) are definitely of excellent quality and should be a part of your kit if you do impressioning of any kind. The chainsaw files I haven't had opportunity to use, but for general impressioning should work well as they are of a fine cut.

The visor is a bit pricy, but the quality is there and the packages came to me very well packed and in less than 10days, which I consider fairly standard shipping.

I thought since I had the opportunity to test some of this product that he deserved a review on it anyways. So if your in the market for good files, drop him a pm.
