lockedbike, i used to collect keys when i was really young, i remember my cousin getting a moped and taking the keys to it with him, my dad needed to move it, so he got my keys out and two of them fitted the lock!

you can learn to pick, but i think motorbikes come under the same catagory as cars here, in the "automotive" section and aren't really discussed, due to the problem of theives reading it etc. if you do try and pick it, just be careful, i imagine motorbike locks and car locks are similar and can be damaged fairly easily if you dont know what you're doing.

andjust ut of interest.....even if you do unlock it, every time you want to start it you'd have to pick it! surely its better to pay a locksmith a bit to cut you a key or 2 and be done with it?

Joined this site 2 days ago it's pretty cool. I'm going to "manipulate" my master lock, then move onto my front door, then move onto.. Dunno, some other locks I guess..

Hold'er there skippy. You might want to think twice about learning to pick locks on your door. If you don't know what you're doing just yet things can sometimes go awry. If you're ready willing and able to replace the lock if need be, than have at'r. Otherwise, stick to practice locks.

Hello everyone at Lock Picking 101.

I have been a random veiwer of LP101 for about a year, and have finally decided to join up and talk that talk with everyone else. I have been picking for two years now, and I am getting a little bit bored with my few locks. I now have an income, so new locks will be coming in soon .

After taking a break for a six months or so, I am back into picking. I have made myself an entirely new set and am now doing better than I was before I quit.
