hi,
got told the other day when you get a multipiont that has failed you can just buy the lockcase and replace it onto the old strip, saving you having to re adjust keeps ect

Hi Ray

Did they say where the lockcases could be purchased and which makes?

Many lockcases are riveted to the strip so could only be sold whole, I
know you used to be able to get Fullex cases on their own but apparently
not anymore.

On a recent job i drilled the rivets out and re-riveted a differant lock case on,

I like the idea i have heard on site about carrying various cut down strips so just certain parts can be changed until a new one can be sourced, if i can think of a way to join parts like that together for good then it would solve a lot of problems, perhaps i will start carrying a portable welder around

Sounds a good plan but the thought of a cut n shut scares me a tad. Anyway the time i have put all the bits together it would be easier just to adjusted the stays and the customers knows the lock is new and sparkling as you haven't seen my welding!. The A-team and oildrums comes to mind.

Hi,
Mila multipoints are attached using security screws, and I've got a couple of others kicking about that are the same.

Andy
I get my stock through Duffells and have got Fullex cases separately
before but when I last tried about 8 months ago I was told they had
stopped doing them. Maybe they wanted me to buy the whole thing.
