five - three = one.... two... thr.... yup, two!! You're maths is spot on!!

Hi

I just found your website while searching for pages about lockpicking. Wow.. it's really cool. I've only recently become interested in locks/lockpicking since I lost the key to my locker and actually thought about how the lock works. Now I have found you guys I guess I might eventually be able to pick my lock myself one day :)

Read the FAQs and stickies.
Here's a link that might help, while I already have
it cut and pasted, I'll paste it here for you, too:

It's a great site.

I have been reading this site now for two weeks. And have learnt a lot

But it is hard to decide what is correct and what is incorrect there is no basics to build upon.

I have made some picks from saw blades and tension wrench from umbrella and just picked my Tri circle 255 pad lock (6 pin) and what a feeling.

Waiting my pick set to come in the post.

Thanks to all who have contributed to this site.

New to forum, just posting the requisite hello.

Howdy, new to the forum, just saying hello. I work for a towing and storage company in Northern Virginia that primarily does impounds, so this site seemed interesting and a good match for my interests. :) Nice to meet ya'll.

Stumbled upon this site by accident but i like what it's about - seems fascinating . Just thought it'd be polite to say hello before requesting anything.
Thx.

Hi, Names JT. I have always thought that this profession was a very interesting one, and I have a lock that needs picking myself. I just would like to know what I need to get started.

Having thief in your name doesnt really stand with the morals of the people here. Any form of illegal activity is strictly prohibited as stated in the rules of this forum. I'm sure I won't be the only one commenting on this issue.

The lock that needs opening, is it yours, do you rightfully own it? We also strongly encourge using the search function.

Anyone wanna pick up from here?

**This is a pre-formatted message.**

Here is the link which will take you to everything you ever wanted to know about lockpicking:
ImageSearch (hint - it's at the top of the page)

Please feel free to use it for every question you have, no matter how complicated your query may seem to you. The majority of questions you may have will probably have been asked and answered before.

The use of keywords is important - e.g. "I want to know how to open a Master No3" - use keywords "master", "no3", "no 3", "#3", "03", "3" etc. If your question remains unanswered, feel free to post in the correct section of the forum and please, no duplicate posts. If you wish to know more about locks, please post in the "Locks" section. Same goes for "Lockpicks - Manual", "Lockpicks - Automatic/Mechanical", etc.

The "FAQ's and general information" section also contains a wealth of knowledge and expertise, combined with answers and links to most of the questions you may have. This section has been compiled by certified locksmiths and experienced hobby pickers. Please use it.

FYI, the Advanced Locks section is closed to new users. If you meet the criteria for qualification, you will be invited to access the secure section following a SINGLE initial request from yourself, so please don't pester the moderators if you feel that access is taking too long. Multiple applications are likely to be ignored. Your continued participation will be monitored and access will/will not be granted as deemed appropriate.
