I would like to know how you would rate the Yale PBS1 & PBS2 Out of 10..
Also how hard are they to pick...

The PSB is one of the largest and chunkiest and one of the few BS nightlatches
so I'll give it 10 out of 10 for strength.

As far as I know the cylinder is the same as a normal Yale cylinder except
it has six pins.

An extra pin can make everything that much harder, though.

i may be mistaken here but im sure the PBS has a X5 cylinder which is a vast improvement over the standard one. do a search on X5 you will see what i mean 8)

I got myself one of these locks now my mother inlaw got it from somewhere for a £5.00 (car boots sale or something)

I have done some X5s but this bugger just wont let me in...LOL..
Man i love this lock... :wink: :wink:

They do have X5 cylinders and i've still not heard of many people picking them regularly. Anyone been impressioning them ?

New ones have X5's but all the ones I've come across have had a normal
6 pin cylinder with standard keyway and pick quite easily.

X5 cylinder's pick quite easily with the Wendt gun. The whole cylinder surround on the PBS's make it awkward though applying tesion with a standard wrench.
