I have this set already http://unlockables.com/pd_8_pc.cfm#

and before buying a completely new set, such as the Navigator 18 pc set, I was thinking of buying a few extra picks. If you've noticed, the set doesn't include a full or half ball, should I get these to make it easier to pick single and double wafer locks?

Honestly, the ball or double ball helps, I suppose you should get a ball maybe a double ball for that different feel, could make picking double wafers much quicker. But when picking a double wafer I find that if you are versatile with the small hook or diamond that flipping it over and picking the bottom wafers is the way to go.

I have found little time to use my rakes, or balls, I am always picking pin-by-pin. Unfortunately I haven't mastered raking yet, but I have ways to go. I don't like the idea of raking in general. If one is good at it and can feel it quite well then they obviously have skill. But until I reach that point it's base hope while moving that pick back and forth.

In that set you could use some more rakes. If I had my digital camera charged up I could show you some templates or some of my own rakes that I .... would be very good with .... if I raked.
