Greetings. I saw your introduction (but we aren't allowed to answer questions there...it is for introductions only).

I do not know specifically any sources of lock picking equipment in Australia, nor do I know any laws which apply (so, you should investigate that), but I think many UK and US shops would ship to Australia.

But I prefer to buy picks, having no equipment to make them.

Another important thing I forgot...

I do not know what types of locks are in common use in Australia. Lock picks usually come in two thicknesses, and the thin one is for locks mainly in Europe and Japan which often have thinner keyways.

If all else fails, you can order a set from a Chinese site, such as dx.com

But I do not know the quality of their equipment. I got a tubular lock pick from dx and it was good enough though.

For lock pick sets, more pieces is not better usually.

I'll throw in my two cents, as for the Deal Extreme picks: buyer beware.
The prices are very attractive, but I've bought a large number of their pick sets for comparison purposes and more often than not I've been very dissatisfied with what I received.

I've had some items shorted from my order and never received them at all, and dealing with their customer service can be a big pain. Several times I received pick sets missing a significant number of pieces, as compared to what you see in the pictures. Some items were shown with nice cases or pouches, and I received the items in plastic bags instead. A lot of picks were rusted. Many of the tools are put together so poorly or made from cheap materials so they bent, broke or fell apart after very few uses.

That's not to say that ALL of the stuff I ordered from there was bad, but it's a high enough percentage that I'd be very leery of them.
