I'm living in belgium (may be of some interest for the hardware qualification), that's why I'd like you to forgive me in advance, for my poor english knowledge.
Now about the facts... I'm trying for a few days to pick a lock branded "Viro".
Picture of the lock: http://www.lreenaers.be/ser03.JPG
It was a complete pain in the sitting part of my body...Unt'ill I finally eared the gracefull click that means :"yeah!!! smoking!"...
normal behaviour for such a lock is then to have its plug turning and that black thing(of which I don't know the correct english translation) pictured here below to turn as well, in order to activate the (un)lock mechanisme of the door.

What Actually happened after a succesfull picking is that the plug turns but the silly black thing does not! so lockpicking become useless.
Does anyone knows:
1st if there is an additional security mechanisme that I'm not aware (such as pushing tip at the very end of the plug...)?
2nd about "Viro" lock like the one presented here?
3rd if I the most stupid lock picker ever met...I really wonder now...
thanks in advance
