Well the tool Nigel sells does need a bit of practise but does work well, i think the other one is a home made one, i dont recall any mention of any other commercial tools available,

The alternitive would be to make a 2 in 1 that would fit but the anti picks could be a problem,

I cant say any more without moving this thread to the safe section so i would advise looking at the proper tool or getting a 2in1 pick and spending some time practiceing,

the tool sold by nigel rose is made/designed i believe by jack coomber, a well respected locksmith and safe engineer from down under, the tool is far from crap, and works extremely well upon the locks it was designed for.
if its a magic harry potter tool you seek, then one doesnt exist, and jacks tool is about the best available, though nothing replaces the 2 in 1 pick and some picking skill.

Agreed this tool is in no way "crap" .It is made and designed by Jack(i could be wrong but i think Paul Prescott may have had some involvement too)
I have now used mine a few times on site and many on the bench. As Pinky says it takes a little getting used to but it doesnt require a great amount of skill like picking with the 2in 1
The problem here is its really only designed for the L+F and there are quite a few similar locks out there which it isnt designed to work, although i hear it may do some CT12S
SAL why is it crap? What problems are you having?
