You could put a switch on the top or bottom of the strike plate hole, the switch would then have to be one that has a roller on the arm which would roll along the top or bottom of the bolt, most locks have enough room for that way but if not you could drill a hole in the top of the stricker hole and fit a switch in there and file an angle on the switch so it acts like a latch when the bolt is thrown,
Only some suggestion but may help,
Off the top of my head i think i saw a microswiched sashlock in the eurostar catalogue but im not sure, i will have a look and get back to you later.
