Hello everybody. I'm new to this beautiful art, although I have been interested in lockpicking for a while.

For the moment I'm using a DIY snake pick made from a hacksaw blade (the other two hook picks I made both snapped). I'm thinking in investing in a SouthOrd pick set really soon.

So far I've picked a few padlocks, my dorm room door's lock and the lock of a friend of mine (of course, with his consent :D). I know I shouldn't be picking locks that I'm using, but the temptation was too great :).

Hi there. I'm from Portugal and new to this comunity, and also on this art. Tried to lockpick some locks with paperclips but with no success. Only had sucess on a small padlock and my car's door trigger with a pice of wire. Wish to learn more about lockpicking sport.

Got locked out, had to call a locksmith and hand over $60 for what looked far too easy, so I bought a $5 set of picks to get started.
Never picked before tonight, but I SPP my Brinks padlock in about 5 min on the first try. After playing with it for a while, I can SPP it in about 10 sec or rake it in one stroke 90% of the time. Looking forward to a bigger challenge. :)
