I just got my southord 14 set and tried them out. The first half hour was very discouraging, but after changing positions on how I hold the picks and vary pressures for each lock, I was able to open several padlocks repeatedly. I opened a Castle, a couple Master Lock no.3's and brass no.140. A Belwith, and small brass Samsonite luggage locks (high quality ones) had to use a dental pick for it. I couldn't open a brass abus that I had no key for, and I think might be frozen.
So I was thinking this is pretty easy, whats the big deal.
Then I tried to open our Schlage front door and all the air out of my ballon

I am not even close to feeling what's going on inside that lock. So I guess I'll search the forum and look for tips.
