After watching the video from the locksmith CD where he picks a tubular lock with a standard pick by depressing the pins one by one, I decided to try it myself with a 'cheap' tubular laptop lock (ie: the ones with some kind of small chain used to attach the laptop somewhere).
I have managed to depress the pins one by one and got them all to stay down at respective shear lines (at least that's I think), but the tension is an absolute nightmare. I have tension wrenches twisted in whichever way, but impossible to pop the lock open.
Anyone knows where I can get that special tension wrench he used in the video, or if anyone knows another source or way to apply tension properly on a tubular lock?
Thanks.
