It won't set, unless the lock is very, very, very low quality.

Stop thinking so much and just pick the lock. It could be any of the pins first, then any of the remaining pins second, etc etc.

Just reread that. I don't mind answering questions -- that's what I'm here for, and I didn't want it to come across like that. Sometimes I find, though, that your head can get in the way of your hands.

I realize that, and I will pick it. K? Just don't have the tools yet, I'm going to order them from southord -- I think I'll get the one with the book and maybe the replacement parts also. heck I may just flip a coin :roll: :lol:

Sounds good to me.

A suggestion for everybody:

After you understand the basics, a minute of experimentation is worth an hour of posting/reading forums. Get your picks and give it a shot, then ask about the problems.

The loose pin will just fall back down, as long as there is more friction on another pin.
