Hello everyone,
I am an end user and I recently installed Keso 8000 Omega 2 locks in our house.
Unfortunately, due to some misunderstanding with the company that installed the locks, the master key from the new locks was exposed to a large circle of people and was even left outside for over a week where it could have easily been handled by any passerby.
We discussed this with the locksmith who left the key exposed and they told us not to worry, "no one could make a copy because they do not have the owner's certificate and the key is impossible to copy without it". I have my doubts about this.
We do not keep gold, diamonds, Picassos or Van Goghs in our home, but the house is upscale and could attract attention of questionable character.
I would like to know your professional opinion if it is theoretically possible to create an unauthorized copy of the KESO 8000 Omega 2 key with reasonable time / money and labor investment given an imprint or 3D scan of the original key.
Thank you very much!
