Safe Lock identification please

I am trying to identify a Gardall safe lock. I picked it up without a combination thinking it would be a fun project to learn on. So far it’s been challenging as I cannot detect the contact points. The dial is loose (it moves almost 1/4”) lots of play. I think based on what I can tell visually it appears to be a Lagard dial. It’s an old safe probably 30 years or more the serial # is 27***. Only 5 digits. Any information you guys can provide would be very much appreciated!

The dial and dial ring do look like the Lagard 2085 Visiongard, so the lock inside is probably the Lagard 3330 Group 2 or perhaps a Group 2M 3390

The 3390 feels like there is a hill around 10 where you have to turn uphill and then can run downhill. Very subtle contact points.

Great! This may be tougher than I initially expected. I really appreciate both of your inputs. Does gaurdall usually mix and match their lock sets and dials? I assumed they didn’t. Thats my ignorance. I am willing to learn though. I have read Daggers E book on Safecracking for everyone and thought it would be fun.

I am still willing but the dial seems very loose. It also squeaks. I find it very distracting.

What is the best strategy to find the contact points? I originally thought I found them but now it seems that I wasn’t right. Should I focus on wheel isolation or will some other strategy work better?
