just a quick "which set" question.

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

just a quick "which set" question.

just an easy question so once I am ready to indulge in my next hobby I can be ready to roll!

Which set, grip
http://www.lockpickshop.com/p-PXS-14.html ,
or no grip
http://www.lockpickshop.com/p-MPXS-14.html

and of course ill be using the discount, lp101 regardless but I am poor and curious!

you guys will find I will be quite quiet for awhile as I read alllloooot of old posts.

I am up to three days of long readings. When I get into something, I desire to be on the top end of skill compared to others so I try to do my best to learn all I can.

I used to be intrested charming locks as a "kid" and found my old makeshift (proper termed) tension rod. and a rough rake i had fashioned in my mothers basement I was cleaning and now desire to take my old hobby more seriously.

Thanks!

I'm not a fan of those grips, they seem to dullen the feedback I get. I would say go for the metal handles.

My favorite picks however are peterson plastic handles. Wider, which seems more comforatable, and great feedback.

the plastic handles look nice, but do the rubber ones work just as well?

The ones with the grips actually cost ten dollars LESS.

As far as peterson picks go, the plastic handles have been reported to have better feedback than the rubber ones. I am also a proponent of this notion.
