sending picks from usa to canada

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

i dont know if this is the right section but i dont know where else to post so..

How should someone go about mailing lockpicks from the states (USA) to Canada?

lol. yuo that seems right. but I mean is there any thing specific you should right i mean its not like its from an online store its from a person so just put them in a envelope with bublewrap or box or something and mail thats it? and will they get taken by customs

There are a number of active members on this site (myself included) who live in Canada, and who have never had Customs give us any grief over picks coming into the country. The only report I've personally seen of anyone raising any questions was in Alberta -- which is, I believe, the only province that requires you to be licensed to possess picks.

There's been some other good discussion in the past: a quick search for "Canada Customs" brought up dozens of other posts that are probably also worth reading. Here's the most recent thread where we discussed this last week.

The bottom line is that, yes: it's possible that Canadian Customs will decide to inspect the package, and then decide to not let them through... but, based on everyone's experience, you're much more likely to have Canada Post lose your package than to have Customs give you any grief over it.

have also found labeling your customs document "Hand Tools" rather than "lockpicks" eases delivery,and lessens hassles.
