This is true, however, you would need a specialized comb pick, that was missing the comb in the spot where the long driver pin was.. or driver pins.

If you made a comb pick with one tooth you could basically go through, push all the pins up while applying tension with it (binding order preferred to be most effective).

Then take your pick, and go through any left over pins, and set one of them, the comb again, and keep alternating until picked.

Not as simple as normal combing however still easier than setting all the pins to the sheer:)

What if the longer pin were the initial binding pin? None of the pins being combed would set.

i have a question, do you insert your pick in the bottom of the key way, where it's not touching the pins and after, you lift it up.

These picks are the business, i wouldnt really make them as they are fairly cheap to buy them, they work very well on padlocks, and if you file them down ever so slightly they will fit and work on the cheaper of the Euro locks, now the ones i have had luck with are the Basta Euro locks, E*S Euro locks, Sabre Euro locks,

All are cheapish locks and will be open with the comb picks, and the cheaper makes or Night Latch locks,
