Loll, I don't want to waste my time on that though. Thanks for the tip N E ways, was going to do that, but realzied after 5 minuts of doing it, that it's a waste of time.

I have done it numerous times...not in any lock out situations though, takes about 3-5 hours and possibly some blisters

I got a four wheel combo bike lock in 1 1/2 hours. Started at 9999 and worked backwards. 6935

With practice, you can run the entire 4 wheel pack in about 60 minutes. Since you tend to find the correct combo much sooner than the last number, you can average it out to about 30 minutes if you're quick. A 3 wheel pack can be done in total in 6 minutes. But 5 wheels is a bit beyond what I'd want to try. In 4 hours I'd stand a better chance of gnawing through the braided steel.

By lateral thinking you can eliminate quite a few numbers as they most probably arent the code,

11111, 11112, 10001 etc and all there derogatives, also quite often the number for the following wheel is 2 or more numbers higher or lower than the preceeding one so numbers like 12345, 98235 etc are also not probable combinations,

If it is a combination which the owner canchange you can also try out known numbers first, like the owners birthday, the date the lock was bought or fitted, the present year (i try from 1900 up to 2005 on every lock and its suppriseing how often it opens),

I found a four-wheel lock like that in a parking lot. After thirty minutes of trying about 1500 combinations, I pulled real hard on it and used the "feeling" method and cracked it in 30 seconds The combo was 1992.

On some, yes. To do this:
1)Open the lock up, leave it on the original combination
2)There should be a small semicircle lever that flips up and prevents the end from going back into the lock.
3)Flip that semicircle lever up so it prevents the end from going back in.
4) You may now set the combination to whatever you want it to be.
5) flip the semicircle lever down
6) The combination is now whatever you changed it to.
