On some, yes. To do this:
1)Open the lock up, leave it on the original combination
2)There should be a small semicircle lever that flips up and prevents the end from going back into the lock.
3)Flip that semicircle lever up so it prevents the end from going back in.
4) You may now set the combination to whatever you want it to be.
5) flip the semicircle lever down
6) The combination is now whatever you changed it to.
