with these locks, its all about the tension, and the tension is light.....be aware of the reverse turning plug effect of spool pins, no lock shows it as clearly as the brinks locks. when you have the plug hung up at a few degrees turn, on the spools, push up on each of the pins, start at front or back and go down the line, let the tensor push back against you if it starts to, and if you drop some spool pin hangup or whatever, don't think about it, thats part of the game, keep picking. do not become so invested in some pin you have gotten to hang up that you think its falling back down is a big defeat, all it means is there are some other pins you should work first.
Wake up and smell the Kafka!!!
