Where to find a padlock with re-key kit?

Postby TriannaX » 13 Jul 2010 22:15

My Google-fu is failing me.

I am looking for something like what is mentioned here:

The "Brinks House Key Padlock"

A search of my local Wal-Mart revealed no such lock in stock. Granted, the post was made a few years ago...

Any help is appreciated.

Thank You.

i know there are repinning kits available for deadbolts. they come with the pins, springs, plug follower, precut key, and a tool for what every brand your using it for. you can find them here. i don't know where to find the "brinks house key padlock" though.

That just might work. I'm mostly trying to avoid buying a re-pin set, as the ones I've seen are $50+. I really just want to be able to re-pin a lock, other than simply re-arranging the pin stacks.

Looks like with those I could get a cheap deadbolt and have some fun.
