I have no problems bumping locks with spool pins either. The evva lock used in my bumpkey paper has both spool and mushroom pins and it too bumps well.

I have been practicing your technique and have become better at it than the way i did it in my video. I have made a new video. It is with a schlage deadbolt this time.
