Given most of the people here at most times are not members, but just reading the site. So who are they? Some will be members not logged in, others people checking us out, who might soon be members, but it appears that there are too many people for just these groups.
So who do we think is watching us?

NSA, CIA, FBI, ASIO, AFP, Mossad, you name it. What else is new?
Some things may be pick proof, but everything can be bypassed....

I wonder. They must find it a very dull site if so, thinking of the flak that the poor student got from us who wanted to break in to his college dorms etc.
It would be intersting to see the log files for this site to see where people are watching from at least.

I cannot understand why anyone would be interested in a site like this without wanting to join in.

I'm going to wait and see if this thread gets locked before I post a real reply (and I had a good one, too... )

You forgot Interpol! And the ATF... for all of you showing off your fancy guns...

Yes yes. And I'm sure that Revenue Canada and the IRS are also involved. Maybe the Canadian Wheat Board. Those guys have had it in for us for a long time. And don't forget the gas company. They're in on it too. And the Department of Silly Walks....

lt's not particularly silly, is it? I mean, the right leg isn't silly at all and the left leg merely does a forward aerial half turn every alternate step.

My attempt to generate some paranoia has failed completely! What a well-balanced bunch we have here. You ought to try working in a UK university though!

Perhaps... But I doubt it. These guys are after the hard stuff... kiddie porn peddlers, terrorists, etc... Not pups like us who run around sticking things in holes.
My guess is... IF (and that's a big if) there was something going on in the world that caused these agencies to look here... It'd be purely accidental because google brought them here on a specific search that matches something posted here.
Now... if you really want the attention of these agencies... Post the factors of the the RSA 2048 bit challenge number and tell us how you did it in an hour with a four function calculator: http://www.rsasecurity.com/rsalabs/node.asp?id=2091
Since our national security depends (in part) on strong encryption... you'll have the spooks coming out of the woodwork in no time.
