Try you local hardware shop. Also ask around for padlocks for which
all the keys have been lost, and you might collect many more than you
might expect this way. This is how I got quite a lot.

Ninjas were mentioned. www.ashidakim.com is a good reference point for that, loads of valuable information as well as a free instruction manual.

A lot of cheap padlocks are good to start with, and are _usually_ not too difficult. Pick one though where the cut of the key is not too up and down, and it will be easier to pick. Also look for one with has a large keyway.

You can look at places like wal-mart and/or Lowes any hardware store but I would be careful as this could lead to spending more $$ than you need to.
I find yard sales and friends to be a great source for practice locks.

OH also if you find some old Masterlocks they have been great for me to practice on, again as it was said earlier...
