Help with Lockwood Padlock (AUS), please.

Hoping someone can help me identify this particular padlock.
Padlock was found in the boot (trunk) of a vehicle traded in about 5 weeks ago.
I'll take a punt and say it's had a hard life judging by the exterior and it's buddy on the other end of the chain.

The plug and bolt both have movement as do the pins.

The Lock measures 450mm x 450mm.

The only markings (apart from Lockwood) are;
1) On the plug: EF is stamped vertically with the E above the F.
2) on the shell: 1 is stamped (not visible in Keyway image).

I have another Lockwood with the same dimensions and no markings which I can pick with ease, however the keyway is slightly different. For the life of me I can't this fella to pop!

For over a month I've been fighting this guy, he's won many battles thus far but he will not win the war.
Yep, I'm a newbie with very little experience and my searches thus far have proven fruitless to correctly ID the lock.
BTW, I don't have the key.

Ok...

The padlock is a lockwood 234
It has 5-6 pins
It has an EF keyway

The padlock is likely to be 10 years old and needs lots of lubricant.

To rekey:

Leave it on gas stove for 15 mins and then transfer it to a sink of cold water. This will release the pin retainers and it is possible it will remove the cylinder and shakle retainer.

Or you can drill the retainers out with the appropriate sized drill bit.

It's a 5 pin Skold, i have a feeling the 3rd from the front of the keyway may be a security pin, now I know it's a Lockwood 234 I'm off googling.

I would be amazed if it has any spool pins in it. I have never seen a lockwood std inline lock with spools pins. It is very likely that the lock is master keyed, this will make it easier to pick.

No, not always - locks can be supplied Keyed to Differ and in Keyed Alike groups on request in restricted profiles. Although in the majority of cases they will be Master Keyed.
