What is the best and cheapest way to advertise locksmithing business? I Have all the tools and and the knowledge to do residential locks. I was Thinking of advertising in store bulletin boards. Im not sure if that is a Good idea or not.

I think that it would depend on where you live, to how you advertise.
A small town with no-one in it, the shopfront sign may come across as
nice, cosy, honest, affordable, local, etc.

A big city with the same sign may come across as
dodgy, sleazy, broke, etc.


There was a thread a while back that discussed a few methods and ideas
on advertising: viewtopic.php?t=9037&highlight=advertising

Otherwise you could do a search for 'advertising' on this site, I'm sure that
you'll find something, or just wait for someone else to give better advice than me, hehe.

well john you certainly are one of a kind and certainly the first locksmith ive heard of that has all the tools and all the knowledge to start a residential locksmith business.

i didnt think it possible for any mere mortal to be this good

I dont have all the knowledge or all the tools yet i have a lot of tools and Some knowledge. 2 code machines 3 duplicating machines vats Interragator hundreds of key blanks auto opening tools auto opening Books code books lock picking tools 2 lab pinning kits
