I was wondering what someone could recomend for a poster frame you would find outside of a movie theater or perhaps at a bus stop?

Do they always use the same sort of lock, as I did not think so? Also I have never tried one, for obvious reasons.

i can't seem to locate the locks on a bus stop frame, but as for the ones outside of a movie theater they have tubular locks i know. two on the right.

The ones that I have seen always look easy, but I did not have permission to try them.

You have no business picking locks like these.
What would I recommend for them?
Probably a new hobby that won't get the sh*t kicked out of you.

They're wafer cam locks. Don't pick 'em unless you own 'em.
Some things may be pick proof, but everything can be bypassed....

You ruined it, as I hoped he would have one round of treatment first.

On the way to work I had another look, and most are wafer locks, but not all. None of them looked anything special.

The locks on the bus stop timetables take like a triangular prism with
rounded corners type key, by the looks of the Perth, Aus ones.
From what I've seen, no exposed pins, etc, they look like a fancy
wardrobe lever lock.
But they keep the local losers out, so whatever, hehe.

5 mm?
I'll have a look tomorrow.
May even be some sort of big allen key bolt.

Stealing posters to put up in your room is awfully 9th grade don't you think?

I read this post as asking what locks should he put on that sort of frame, Chrispy answered right in that they are cam locks, you can get a few differant types, tubular, wafer, triangle spigot etc etc,
You can also get differant cams to fit, straight, angled, offset etc

I suppose it could read that way, but you'd have to assume that he wants to fit a lock in both a movie billboard AND a bus stop billboard. I'm having trouble understanding why one might want to do that, so for the moment I'm going with the assumption that it is in fact a "greasy punk" that wants to decorate his room with Kewl Posterz.
